Diversity at ETH Zurich

ETH Diversity is committed to ensuring that all members of ETH Zurich can study, pursue research, work or complete an apprenticeship with equal opportunities and success, regardless of their function, education, origin, race, gender, age, language, social status, lifestyle, religious, ideological or political beliefs, sexual orientation and gender identity, physical and mental disability, or professional status. We work on issues such as unconscious bias, racism, sexual harassment, women's advancement in academia, and much more.

ETH Zurich at Pride 2025

This June, ETH Zurich is once again organizing a stand at Zurich Pride (20-21 June, Landiwiese) together with other Zurich universities. We will be happy to provide information about our offers and to receive feedback on LGBTQIA+ topics at universities. More information about LGBTQIA+ at ETH Zurich and ETH's participation in Pride.

New Equality Monitoring and Focus Text

The Equality Monitoring 2024 is published!

The latest figures on the situation of gender equality at ETH Zurich can be explored in interactive graphics.
This year's focus text centres on the Bachelor's first year examinations and explains what these have to do with gender.

The Sexual Harassment Awareness Day 2025 (SH2025) is already over: The protected page presentation slides of the ETH Diversity and Cooperation event are now available online (for ETH members). It not only illustrates what sexual harassment is and how widespread it is at universities, but also how individuals and organizations can address and prevent sexual harassment at universities.
